Hauraki Cultural Festival 2023
Hosted by Hikutaia Marae, Te Tara o Te Whai attended the 50th annual Hauraki Cultural Festival in Te Aroha.
This year, our team was fortunate enough to attend the Hauraki Cultural Festival to promote our kaupapa alongside Pito Hauora and other service providers around Pare Hauraki.
Our team was able to share rich kōreros with members of Pare Hauraki, with the most common theme from whānau being the need for more Māori models of care available in mainstream health and better mental health support services.
Kaimanaaki, Amaru Donaldson, conducted several interviews with whānau at the Hauraki Cultural Festival. You can click on the video to the right to watch!
